GARNER — Sara Louise Moore, 65, died on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010. Born and raised in Mount Airy, she was the daughter of the late Louise Walker, and a long-time resident of Newport News, Va., Statesville and Garner. She is survived by her sons, Steven Game of Morgantown, W.Va., and Bradford Moore of Natick, Mass.; her sister, Bette Johnson; and a very dear group of friends in the Triangle area. She was also the loving grandmother of Dylan Joseph and Taylor Olivia, and a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church, Henderson. A memorial service in her honor will be held Saturday, Jan. 9, at noon at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 U.S. 70 Bus. Hwy. West, Clayton. The family will receive visitors at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Animal Friends of North Central, WV, 252 Brewer Road, Morgantown, WV 26508.
