SALISBURY — Mrs. Texie McHone Weddle, 77, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Rowan Regional Hospital. Mrs. Weddle was born in Surry County, May 17, 1932, to the late Willie Jessie McHone and Ocie Mae Johnson McHone. Surviving is her husband, Charles Weddle Sr. of the home; a son, Charles Weddle Jr. and wife Rebecca of Salisbury; granddaughters, Crystal Leigh Weddle and Cassandra Dee Weddle; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Landen; and a brother, Bill McHone of Mount Airy. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Skyline Memory Gardens. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Bruce Graham. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time to go to the cemetery for the service. Online condolences may be made at moodyfuneralservices.com.
