East Surry’s Megan Shelton, who won a pair of matches Friday, will play for the singles title beginning at 9:30 a.m.
As soon as that match ends, the Mount Airy duo of Ellie Case and Jordan Gwyn take on North Carolina School of Science and Math’s Teresa Pincus and Laura Outlaw for the doubles title.
Case and Gwyn breezed through their first match Friday, 6-0, 6-1, then eked by an East Montgomery pair for a 7-5, 7-5 victory.
Mount Airy freshman Jordan Jackson advanced to the semifinals after winning her first-round match.
“I thought she was great,” Mount Airy coach Scott Kniskern said of Jackson this season. “We’re going to have three good years coming up. She’ll be back.”
But until then, the Northwest upperclassmen have shown they have no problem ruling the court.
