Stewart Roten will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m., and other times at the home of her daughter, Tootie Hemmings, 601 W. Kapp St., Dobson. My Other Angel: God gave each child two angels — one to lead from up above, and one to guard each child on earth with tenderness and love. This earthbound angel guides her child with gentle, patient care, her kindness, love and selflessness are quite beyond compare. We call one angel “Guardian” and what about the other? Each child who knows her love and care calls this angel “Mother.” Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
