Rhonda Mae Crum and Travis Timothy Howlett were united in marriage on July 25 in the Charles Mack Citizens Center in Mooresville. The Rev. Bill Jenkins performed the ceremony at 12:30 p.m.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Teresa Crum of Mooresville. She is the granddaugher of Donald and Lahoma Crum and Mike Brannigan of Ohio and the late Nettie Brannigan. A 2003 graduate of Mooresville Senior High School, she is employed as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid.

The bridegroom is the son of Tim and Cathy Howlett, 329 Lindsay Creed Lane, Mount Airy. His grandparents are Don and Lavon Thompson and Virginia Howlett and the late L.W. Howlett. He graduated from North Surry High School in 2002 and NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville in 2004. He is employed at Earnhardt Childress Racing Technologies.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Hanna Crum of Mooresville was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tanna Howlett of Mount Airy; Betty Brannigan of Ohio; and Kristen Buckner of Statesville.

Macy Crum was the flower girl.

Tim Howlett served his son as best man. Honorary groomsmen were Tyler Howlett of Seoul, South Korea, and Timon Howlett of Mosul, Iraq, both brothers of the bridegroom.

The groomsmen were Travis Gillespie of Boone; and Ronald Crum and Brian Somers, both of Mooresville.

A reception followed the ceremony.

The bridal couple will be entertained with a formal reception in November when the honorary groomsmen can be home to celebrate as well.

The newlyweds reside at 316 Rustic Road, Mooresville.
