MOUNT AIRY — Miss Chelsie Lynn Thompson, 18, of 135 W. Lebanon St., Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 19, 2009. She was born Aug. 12, 1991, in Blair County, Pa., to Jeffrey Scott and Melissa Ann Smith Thompson. She was a 2009 graduate of Mount Airy High School and was employed by McDonalds. Surviving are her father, Jeffrey “Jeff” S. Thompson of Bellwood, Pa.; her mother, Melissa Ann Smith Thompson of Bellwood, Pa.; a sister, Tia Nichole Thompson of Mount Airy; and grandparents, Joann and James Patterson of Bellwood, Pa., and Phyllis Smith of Bellwood, Pa. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mount Airy conducted by the Rev. Todd Byrd. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
