MOUNT AIRY—Andy Lee Shockley, 37, of Mount Airy left this world unexpectly on Aug. 11, 2009. He was born July 24, 1972 to Archie and Louise Shockley. He was preceded in death by his father and both grandfathers, Claude Pack and S.H. Shockley. He is survived by his mother Lousie Shockley of Mount Airy; two sisters, a twin sister Sandra (Sissy) Mayes and husband Danny Mayes of Lowgap and Annette Jenkins of Mount Airy; two neices and three nephews, Terry W. Jenkins, Samantha Mayes, Dianna Mayes, T.J. Mayes and Matthew Mayes; also his grandmothers, Beulah Pack and Virginia Shockley, both of Mount Airy; several aunts and uncles who loved him dearly. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday Aug. 17, 2009 at Cox Needham Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Stoney Knoll Baptist Church at 3 p.m. officiated by the Rev. Gene Brinkley.
