Autumn Kathleen Arnder
She is the daughter of Ron and Angela Arnder of Mount Airy and the granddaughter of Billy and Phyllis Allen of Cana, Va., and Ms. Lessie Arnder of Mount Airy and the late Millard Arnder. She is a rising freshman at East Surry High School in Pilot Mountain.
Autumn began her duties as Junior Miss Peach at the Peach Festival in Stuart on Saturday. There she was interviewed on stage by television and radio personalities and was able to meet and speak with Virginia gubernatorial candidates Creigh Deeds and Bob McDonnell.
The fifth annual pageant was sponsored by the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce.
