Capt. Mark Garner’s remains will arrive in Elkin around noon Wednesday. His procession will travel down North Bridge Street to Main Street, then to Memorial Park Drive and on to Hodges Funeral Home.
The public is welcome to line the streets to honor Garner’s service to his country.
The family will receive friends at Elkin First Baptist Church at 6 p.m. Friday, and the funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Elkin First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery.
