MOUNT AIRY — Mrs. Mary Ann Edwards Mosqueda, 47, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009. Mrs. Mosqueda was born in Surry County July 24, 1961, to Beulah McMillain Edwards and the late Rev. Eugene Edwards. Surviving are her husband, Elias Mosqueda of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Angie Barker of Dobson and Jimmy and Melinda Barker and Jonathan and Julie Barker, all of Pulaski, Tenn.; grandchildren, Dakota Lee Barker, Desirae Marie Barker, Destiny Shian Barker, Timothy Dean Purdy and William Jacob Barker; her mother, Beulah McMillain Edwards; a sister, Linda Marion of Mount Airy; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Angela Edwards of Mount Airy; a niece, Nikayla Angel Marion; a nephew, Christopher Eric Marion; and special friends, Vera Edwards and Marie Timmons McMillian. In addition to her father, Mrs. Mosqueda was preceded in death by grandchildren, Gabriel Eden Barker and Jada Breanah Barker; and a niece, Brittany Dawn Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Steve Collins and the Rev. Marley Hawks. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
