DANBURY — Surry Central beat North Stokes in baseball 11-3 Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles improved to 4-3, 2-1 in the Northwest Conference.
The Vikings are winless in conference play, having also lost to North Surry and East Surry. In all three games, the Vikings gave up double-digit runs. To the Hounds, North Stokes lost 14-1 and to the Cards it was 12-0.
In this one, junior outfielder Kaden Leonard went 3-3 with three RBIs to lead the Eagles.
Cole Fowler and Austin Stevens handled the pitching, limiting the Vikings to three runs in seven innings.
The Eagles travel to Mount Airy on Friday.
