HENSLEY
MOUNT AIRY — Mrs. Virginia Francis Collins Hensley, 80, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at her home. She was born in Surry County on April 11, 1932, to the late James Marion and Mary Etta Lankford Collins. Mrs. Hensley was a homemaker. She is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Mary McHone of Pinnacle, Wanda Draughn of Mount Airy, Joanna Dunford of Westfield, Marsha and Aaron Martin of Lawsonville and Deborah and Hector Hemo of New York; four sons and daughter-in-law, Donald Hensley of Mount Airy, Paul and Brenda Hensley of Maine, Keith Hensley of Fancy Gap, Va., and Kenneth Hensley of Pilot Mountain; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Kiger of Camp Springs, Md.; and a brother, R.W. Collins of Pinnacle. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hensley was preceded in death by her husband, Paul William Hensley. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jason Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 p.m. until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
