• Wards Gap Church, at the corner of Epworth and Wards Gap roads, Cana, Va., will hold its annual indoor yard sale and food sale today and Saturday from 8 a.m. until. In addition to yard sale items, hot dogs, desserts, drinks and other foods will be sold. Snow date is Feb. 22 and 23.

• Flat Rock Baptist Church will have a free community dinner Feb. 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This will be a spaghetti, salad and dessert meal. The public is welcome. For more information, call 786-7661.

• Woodland Baptist Church will hold a ham supper benefit Feb. 23 from 1 to 7 p.m. to raise money toward paving the parking lot and working on the fellowship hall. Meal includes ham, green beans, corn, potatoes, slaw, macaroni and cheese, roll, dessert and drink for a donation only. It is all-you-can-eat. Take-outs will be available, but drinks are not included with take-out. In addition, a silent auction and yard sale will be held.

• Flat Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church will host an indoor yard sale Feb. 23 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. with proceeds benefiting the women’s ministry and Christian education departments.

• New Venture Baptist Church, Northeast Pine Street, will hold a breakfast fundraiser to benefit its building fund Feb. 23 from 7 to 10 a.m. Meal includes bacon, sausage, eggs, gravy, biscuit, apples, coffee and juice. Cost is donations only.

• Believers Baptist Church will hold a Miche and Thirty-One bingo March 1 at the Ararat Ruritan Building, Ararat, Va., with doors opening at 6 p.m. and games at 7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the church building fund. Cost of $20 includes 20 games, one coverall and one door prize ticket, or $30 includes 20 games, two coveralls and 12 door prize tickets. The coverall prize is a Sabika necklace and earring set worth $225. Also raffles will be held for $100 in gas and a Sabika necklace and earring set worth $225. Concessions will be available.

• Ekklesia is having a special event hosted by Pilot Mountain Friends Meeting on today at 6 p.m. Mira Gracheva, who was born into a Soviet Jewish family and now plays a key role in the Messianic work in Moscow and serves with Chosen People Ministries, will share her testimony and ministry work. Dinner (potato bar and salad) will begin sharply at 6 p.m. and the program will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m.

• New Covenant Church will host a time for couples to focus on refreshing their relationships in marriage Sunday at 11 a.m. There will be free refreshments and balloons for kids.

• First Baptist Church of Hillsville, Va., will host movie night with “F.B.Eye,” a movie inspired by the true story of Sue Thomas, whose ability to read lips lands her on the FBI’s elite surveillance team. • The Fountain Food Ministry hours have changed. Families in need of clothing or food may come every Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. The ministry will be open weekly on Thursdays to assist those in need of food.
