Here is a novel idea. Why not use the funds proposed to bolster our probation and parole program to promote the teaching of Christian morality in our public schools. Might not need as many prisons, probation ,or parole officers and I am sure Mr. Jefferson (looking down upon your editorial) would be pleased.
