Brandi Rebecca Draughn and Kyle Brent Simpson
Jeff and Becky Draughn of Mount Airy announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Rebecca, to Kyle Brent Simpson, son of Rodney and Amy Simpson of Ararat.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kathleen Collins and the late Joe Bill Collins and Bessie Draughn and the late Frank Draughn. She is a 2011 graduate of Surry Central High School, and is employed at Dobson Veterinary Hospital.
The bridegroom-to-be is the grandson of Brent and Delana Simpson, the late Jeanette Simpson and Bobby and Bonnie Watson. He graduated from Surry Central High School in 2011, and is employed at C&B Salvage.
A May 11 wedding is planned on the Simpsons’ family farm in Ararat.
