HILLSVILLE, Va. — Mr. Ronald Lee Kendrick, 56, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on March 28, 1956, in Forsyth County to Ruben Lee and Gracie Kendrick. Mr. Kendrick worked as a supervisor for Winston-Salem Microfibers and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Kendrick is survived by his father, Ruben Lee Kendrick; one son, Brandon Lee Kendrick of Hillsville; two daughters, Catherine Karen Kendrick of Hillsville and Stephanie Faye Lawter of Hillsville; two grandchildren, Cadence Mau and Stormie Burkhart; and one sister, Linda Johnson of Walkertown. Mr. Kendrick was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Gospel Light Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
