Clyde and Norma Smith
Clyde and Norma Smith of 792 Ladonia Church Road, Mount Airy, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 9 with a 2 p.m. celebration in the Ladonia Baptist Church fellowship hall. They were married Dec. 14, 1962.
Their children, Gary and Vickie Harold and David Smith, all of Mount Airy, hosted the event. They have seven grandchildren, Whitney Hudson, Nathan Atkins, Abigale Harold, Kristin Smith, Courtney Smith, Cameron Smith and Tyler Harold. Cayden Hudson is their great-grandchild.
Mr. Smith is retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Mrs. Smith is retired from the Surry County Health Department.
