ROXBORO — Patty Jean Redman Boyette, 48, of 2529 Rolling Hills Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at her home. Born in Surry County daughter of the late Dalmer Redman and the late Mildred Moore Redman. Mrs. Boyette was a homemaker. Patty touched many with her talent, for art her paintings and murals can be found in various galleries and businesses around Roxboro, also Patty’s ability to sew enabled her to create her wedding dress, costumes for birthday parties and plays. She was a member of Roxboro Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Norman Boyette of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Boyette of the home and Jesika Boyette of the home; one brother, Eddie Redman and wife Barbara of Lenoir; and two sisters, Margaret Redman of Pilot Mountain and Indra Hilson and husband John of Macon, Ga. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at the Roxboro Presbyterian Church by Dr. James “Mickey” Efird. Graveside memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Pilot Mountain by the Rev. Alan Branch.
