The following incidents are currently under investigation by the Surry County Sheriff’s Office:

• On Nov. 25, Cynthia Ann Bristow, 46, of Jenny Lane in Pilot Mountain, reported the breaking and entering of her home and the theft of computer equipment valued at $150.

• On Nov. 24, Lynda Sykes Smith, 50, of Atlanta Lane in Mount Airy, reported the larceny of a Great Dane valued at $500.

• On Nov. 24, Zuvieta Reynaldo Martinez, 44, of Sparger Road in Mount Airy, reported the larceny of an ATV and step ladder and damage to a wire fence. The items taken and damage were valued at $650.

• On Nov. 24, Eric Shane Sloop, 39, of Old Rockford Road in Dobson, reported the attempted breaking and entering of his home. The damage was listed at $200.

• On Nov. 24, Levia Elsie Barnett, 82, of Painted Fox Trail in Mount Airy, reported the vandalism of her mailbox. The damage was valued at $30.

• On Nov. 24, Timothy Van Cooke, 46, of Fairview Drive in Mount Airy, reported the breaking and entering of a storage unit. Damage to the unit was listed at $120.

• On Nov. 24, Leticia De La Cruz, 31, of Clayburn Lane in Mount Airy, reported the breaking and entering of his home and the theft of and X-Box and video games valued at $310.

• On Nov. 23, Wendy Lynn Negly, 41, of Hogan Creek Road in Siloam, reported the breaking and entering of her home and the theft of various computer equipment and jewelry. The items taken were valued at more than $5,000.

• On Nov. 23, Lisa Perrell Dickinson, 54, of Butner Road in Tobaccoville, reported the breaking and entering of her home. Damage to the home was listed at $700.

• On Nov. 23, Laurel Rebecca Nunn, 65, of Woodville Road in Mount Airy, reported that someone damaged her mailbox. The damage was listed at $40.

• On Nov. 23, Randy Gray Burcham, 54, of Casper Stewart Road in Lowgap, reported the breaking and entering of his home and the theft of two shotguns valued at $600.

• On Nov. 23, James Weldon Pell Jr., 73, of Skyview Lane in Mount Airy, reported the breaking and entering of his home and the theft of construction tools valued at more than $500.

• On Nov. 22, Vanessa Lee Roberts, 21, of Cutaway Lane in Dobson, reported the larceny of her wallet. The items taken were valued at just over $80.

• On Nov. 21, Mark Davis Lawson, 50, of Maplebrook Lane in Elkin, reported that someone shot the top of his truck. The damage inflicted was valued at $300.

• On Nov. 20, Nancy Irene Pruitt, 58, of C.P. Riddle Road in Mount Airy, reported the theft of a radio valued at $50.

• On Nov. 19, Alisa Hall Smith, 50, of Tom Jones Road in Ararat, reported someone forced open the basement door of her home. The damage was listed at $100.
