This Friday and Saturday, the youth group at Temple Baptist Church will be selling barbecue dinner plates and whole cooked Boston butts to raise money for its winter retreat.

The group will be delivering plates, pints and whole cooked Boston butts on Friday. The food will be available for pick-up on Saturday.

Phil Goble, who is helping with the fundraiser, said the group will deliver multiple plates, pints and Boston butts to businesses on Friday.

“The pints freeze really well. My wife Michelle and I have done that in years past. Also, the whole cooked Boston butts are new this year. They will be great for lunches and dinners during the weekend,” said Goble.

The costs are $6.50 for plates, $7.50 for pints and $20 for whole Boston butts.

Payment can be made when the meal is delivered or picked-up.

Goble said the plates will have barbecue, baked beans, rolls and desserts.

“It’s a full lunch. The Boston butts are five to six pounds a piece. They are going to start cooking Thursday evening,” said Goble.

To place orders for the food, call Phil Goble at 710-2530.
