PILOT MOUNTAIN — Mr. Harry Lee Eubanks, 74, of Pilot Mountain, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1937, in Spartanburg County, S.C., to the late James Carl Eubanks and Lottie Blanche Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks was a veteran of the U.S Army. He was the retired owner and CEO of Tarheel Textile Sales Company, Inc. of King. Mr. Eubanks was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Paula Schneider Eubanks of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Monica and James Smith of Shoals; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Cathy Eubanks of Pilot Mountain; grandchildren, Brett Smith, Evan Smith, Zachary Smith, Jamie Smith, Aaron Eubanks and Alex Eubanks; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Betty Eubanks of Spartanburg, S.C.; and special pet, Rocky Lee. In addition to his parents, Mr. Eubanks was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret and Grace; and brothers, James, Gene, Joe, and identical twin brother, Larry Eubanks. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Fairview United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. David Cook. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
