SouthData Inc. has been recognized as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina for the eighth consecutive year.
“This long running recognition is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of everyone on the SouthData team,” said SouthData President John Springthorpe III. “We are proud to have been named a Fast 50 recipient every year since 2005.”
The Fast 50 award program is a business growth competition and regional awards program presented by The Business Journal. SouthData is one of a handful of companies to have been selected for eight successive years.
Fast 50 winners have to meet several qualifications to be considered. A nominee has to be a private, for-profit venture; must have its U.S. headquarters in the Triad; and have completed three full fiscal years and had sales of at least $2 million in 2011.
The rankings were compiled by accounting firm Smith Leonard. The Fast 50 awards ceremony took place Sept. 27 at the Grand Pavilion Ballroom, Embassy Suites in Winston-Salem.
SouthData is a national outsourced services provider, specializing in the life cycle of electronic and paper documents, from design and production through scanning, storage and retrieval with 111 employees in North Carolina, Alabama, Arizona, Mississippi and Florida.
