LAMBSBURG, Va. — With the cruise-in season winding down at various locations in this area, Lambsburg Community Center will host its final 2012 event Saturday.

In addition to antique, classic and specialty cars, trucks and motorcycles, the cruise-in scheduled from 4 p.m. until dark will feature live bluegrass.

Owners of such vehicles are welcome and encouraged bring them along for the enjoyment of those who have an appreciation for them, organizers say.

There is no charge for admission.

While Lambsburg is one of several area communities regularly hosting cruise-ins, most occur in downtown locations. Organizers say the southern Carroll County community has the added attraction of a rural setting against a backdrop of Sugar Loaf Mountain.

Music is to be provided Saturday by The Marshall Brothers and High Road with Bruce Mosely. Those attending may bring lawn chairs, with dancing also encouraged.

Food will be part of the event along with vendors of other items, with a playground available for children.
