Of course not. And now is the time to do something about that by entering your little loved one in the Mount Airy News Cutest Pet Contest to show everyone in Surry County you have the most darling little creature around.
Entering is free (and you just may win one of a couple of prizes valued at $100), but you want to get your pet in the contest soon, because public voting on the entries begins Sept. 17.
Entering is easy — just go to mtairynews.com and click on the contest logo there, submit your photo and all the requested information. Or, you can go to either of our sponsors, Lucky Bones Country Club and Animal Medical Services, and enter there.
Once you’ve entered, vote! And get as many of your friends, neighbors, relatives, and get anyone else you can to vote for your little pet as well.
