Tourism class to be held tomorrow

Tomorrow, the Hospitality Academy of Surry Community College will be offering a class that will be geared toward helping those involved with the tourism industry understand how to further tap into the market to strengthen their businesses.

Tapping into Tourism: Marketing Tips will be held on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Surry Community College.

This is a free class to help promote tourism in Surry County.

Jessica Icenhour Roberts, director of Tourism for the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce, will give an insider’s guide to the best websites and tourism resources to promote businesses and build customer bases.
