LAMBSBURG, Va. — Lovers of classic and antique cars with sparkling chrome and paint jobs are revving up for a cruise-in this weekend in Lambsburg, also to include live music.
The cruise-in is scheduled Saturday from 5 p.m. to dark at the Lambsburg Community Center, with admission free of charge.
It will pay homage to antique, classic or special cars; trucks; and motorcycles, with everyone in the surrounding area invited to drive such vehicles they own to the event.
Meanwhile, music is to be provided by The Fenders throughout the evening, with dancing encouraged. Those attending may bring lawn chairs.
Food and other vendors will be part of the cruise-in, which also is to include 50/50 tickets.
Organizers say the Lambsburg site is conducive to a cruise-in, providing a picturesque setting at the foot of Sugar Loaf Mountain. It offers plenty of parking, clean restrooms and a playground, they say.
