I live in Louisville, Ky., which was turned dark and cold when an ice storm roared through town on Jan. 27.
Over 205,000 customers were without power. I was fortunate enough to not lose power, but I was still filled with gratitude and respect when I saw a parade of Pike Electric trucks passing my house each day for over a week to bring warmth and light to my city. The temperature was in the teens, yet these angels worked for over 16 hours each day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
