The drive had been set for 1:30 to 6 p.m. at the Westlake Drive facility, where pipes froze and burst on Jan. 17 when single-digit temperatures occurred. The entire building was flooded as a result, with ceiling tiles crumbling and other damage reported.
Due to continuing efforts to get the Red Cross offices back in order, Monday’s blood drive will instead be held just down the road at the Mount Airy Elks Lodge. The same hours will apply.
