Ribbon cutting, strawberry festival highlights at Tharrington

The Strawberry Celebration and ribbon cutting for the school&#8217;s new shade structure was held Tuesday. Dermatologist Dr. Amy Devore helped Celena Watson of the Surry County Health &amp; Nutrition Center and Catrina Alexander of Reeves Community Center on a successful grant for the project. The $8,000 grant was from the American Academy of Dermatology.</p>
