The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has reported these arrests:

- Eric Eugene Benton, 38, of 205 Leeford Lane, Elkin, was arrested on Jan. 22 on an order for arrest for failing to appear in court. A $15,000 secured bond was set.

- Jose Hernandez Tapia, 21, of 112 Gatehouse Lane, Dobson, was arrested on Jan. 21 for driving while impaired. He posted $426 for release.

- Antonio Bustos Alavarian, 24, of 404 Rockford St., Mount Airy, was arrested on Jan. 21 for driving while license revoked and one count of resisting a public officer. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

- Renee Lynn McRoberts, 43, of 170 Farrier Lane, Pinnacle, was arrested on Jan. 20 for one count of failing to appear in court for a larceny charge and one count of misdemeanor simple assault. No bond was listed.

- Tennis Douglas Mullins, 20, of 399 Arnder Road, Mount Airy, was arrested on Jan. 20 for failure to register as a sex offender. A $10,000 bond was set. He was also charged with non-support. A separate bond of $918 was set.

- Robert Chadwell Easter, 38, of 175 McMiddle School Road, Dobson, was arrested on Jan. 19 for one misdemeanor charge for non-support. No bond was listed.

- Ivan Martinez Mendez, 26, of 185 Simpson Road, Mount Airy, was charged on Jan. 15 for failing to appear in court on a driving-while-impaired charge and a no-operator’s-license charge. A $1,000 cash bond was set.

- Wilepledo Hernandez, 40, of 130 Hattie Lane, was charged on Jan. 16 for misdemeanor violating a domestic protective order. No bond was listed.

- Charles Gregory Rector, 49, of 105 2nd Ave., Galax, Va., was arrested on Jan. 15 for failure to appear on a resisting-a-public-officer charge. He was released on a written promise.

- Marty Gray Flinchum, 34, of 107 Lobos Lane, Dobson, was arrested of Jan. 15 for habitual misdemeanor assault charge. No bond was set.

- Mitzi Snow Marshall, 48, was arrested at the Surry County Jail on Jan. 14 and charged with misdemeanor harassing phone calls. She was issued a written promise.

- Michael Reynolds, 37, of 108 Jim Reynolds Lane, no city was listed, was charged with failure to appear on a non-support charge on Jan. 14. No bond was listed.

- Gregory Lee Graybeal, 36, of 1302 Linville Road, Mount Airy, was arrested on Jan. 14 for misdemeanor cyberstalking. A $1,000 unsecured bond was set.

- David Martin Hodge, 34, of 142 Cedar Ridge Court, Mount Airy, was arrested on Jan. 14 for one count of misdemeanor threatening phone calls. He was release on a written promise.

- Jessica Renee Wall, 24, of 234 Green Road, Dobson, was arrested on Jan. 14 for misdemeanor failure to appear in court. A $1,200 secured bond was set.

- Craig Glenn Brindle, 23, of 3580 Ararat Road, Mount Airy, was arrested on Jan. 13 for an order for arrest for failure to appear on a driving-while-impaired charge, one misdemeanor operating a vehicle with no license and failure to appear on a child-support charge. Two separate bonds were set, $10,000 bond and a $900 cash bond was posted.

- Jason Lee McBride, 29, of 1200 Borwood Lane, King, was arrested on Jan. 13 for felony larceny, one count of felony larceny of a firearm and one felony count of possession of firearm by a felon. A $10,000 bond was set.

- Dustin Dale Gammons, 17, of 136 Danley Road, Ararat, was arrested on Jan. 13 for failure to appear for felony larceny charge and failure to appear on a possession-of-a-stolen-vehicle charge. A $20,000 bond was set.

- Jesse Lee Poindexter, 22, of 111 Founders Lane, Dobson, was arrested on Jan. 11 for an order for arrest for not having an operator’s license. No bond was listed.

- Casey Dale Jones, 22, of 307 Bluemont Road, Mount Airy, was arrested on Jan. 9 on a governor’s warrant. No bond was listed.

- Charlie Lee Bennett, 44, of 203 Buckeye Lane, Pilot Mountain, was arrested on Jan. 14 for failure to appear. A $547 bond was set.

- Alvin Junior Hunter, 55, of 141 Angela Lane, Mount Airy, was arrested on Jan. 13 for failure to appear for driving while license revoked and for simple assault. A $6,500 secured bond was set.
