Arrests

• Dannette Bowman, 51, of 150 Thomas Lane, Mount Airy, was arrested on June 2 on charges of felony possession of cocaine, felony maintaining a drug vehicle and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is $2,500 secured. Trial date is July 19.

• Tracy Hawks Golding, 43, of 122 Teaberry Lane, Lowgap, was arrested on June 2 and charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is $2,500 secured. Trial date is July 19.

• Casey Kevin Cooke, 20, of 1064 Yadkinville Road, Mocksville, was arrested on June 3 on charges of felony possession of a firearm by a felon; felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule I controlled substance; possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance; two counts felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver; and felony maintaining a drug vehicle. Bond was not listed on the arrest report.

• Kayla Ann Parker, 27, of 1013 Freedom Drive, Boonville, was arrested on June 7 and charged with two counts felony forgery of instrument and uttering forged instrument. Parker was released on written promise with a trial date of July 26.

• James Alvin McBride, 44, of 118 E. Wilson St., Mount Airy, was arrested on June 7 and charged with felony habitual felon. Bond is $25,000 secured. Trial date is July 26.

• Michael Shane Williams, 31, of 201 White St., Dobson, was arrested on June 7 and charged with four counts felony breaking and entering, four counts felony larceny after breaking and entering, four counts felony possession of stolen goods, and felony possession of a firearm by a felon. Bond is $75,000 secured. Trial date is July 13.

• James Henry Tate, 20, of 122 Capital Lane, Mount Airy, was arrested on June 7 on charges of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. Bond is $10,000 unsecured. Trial date is July 19.

• Charles Craig Taylor, 40, of 232 Rockford St., Mount Airy, was arrested on June 9 and charged with felony habitual misdemeanor assault. Bond is $5,000 secured.

Incidents

• Larceny and property damage were reported on June 3 at 618 Mount Zion Road, Pinnacle, when suspect cut catalytic converter worth $500 from vehicle.

• Breaking and entering, larceny and property damage were reported on June 3 at 119 Oakwood Drive, Mount Airy, when $500 cash, $300 Play Station 3, bank savings book, and driver’s license were stolen from house and $200 damage was done to front storm door.

• Larceny was reported on June 3 at 336 River End Road, Dobson, when suspect entered corral and stole two goats worth $200.

• Criminal damage to property and attempted breaking and entering were reported on June 3 at 411 Turkey Ford Road, Dobson, when $100 damage was done to window seal.

• Motor vehicle theft was reported on June 3 at 241 Summit Drive, Mount Airy, when $10,000 Jeep Cherokee was stolen.

• Obtaining property by false pretense was reported on June 3 at 108 Vale Trail, Pinnacle, when suspect used debit card to make $19.90 purchase.

• Breaking and entering, attempted arson and larceny were reported on June 3 at 348 Wayne Marshall Road, Elkin, when suspect caused $300 damage to glass window and stole $400 Play Station 3, several Play Station games, $100 bag and $250 knives.

• Motor vehicle theft was reported on June 3 at 500 New Life Church Road, Mount Airy, when $5,000 vehicle was stolen.

• Breaking and entering, larceny from buildings, and criminal damage to property were reported on June 4 at 2148 S. Main St., Mount Airy, when damage was done to window screen, door frame and lock and $500 refrigerator, $25 gas can, $500 leafblower, $1,025 lawn mowers and $700 shingles were stolen from residence and outbuilding.

• Larceny was reported on June 4 at 160 Farmbrook Road, Mount Airy, when $390 saw, $450 drills, $175 sawsall, $175 air compressor, $200 framing nailer and $200 cordless combo were stolen.

• Breaking and entering, larceny, and motor vehicle theft were reported on June 4 at 3181 Wards Gap Road, Mount Airy, when $100 weed eater, $600 lawn tractor, and $5,000 truck were stolen.

• Motor vehicle theft was reported on June 4 at 500 New Life Church Road, Mount Airy, when $18,000 Ford truck was stolen from driveway.

• All other larceny was reported on June 4 at 122 E. End Drive, Mount Airy, when $100 ladder, $341 chainsaw and $500 scrap copper were stolen.

• Breaking and entering and larceny were reported on June 5 at 957 Mount Herman Church Road, Mount Airy, when $250 chain saw, $145 hedge trimmer and $200 tool belt were stolen.
