Northern Obstetrics and Gynecology Center will be holding an open house on Thursday, hoping to attract people from the community to visit, see the facilities and meet the staff.
”Our dedicated team of providers specialize in the diagnosis and personalized treatment of all forms of women-related health conditions – including pregnancy, breast health, gynecological care and post-menopausal concerns,” the center, under the umbrella of Northern Hospital of Surry County, said in announcing the event.
“With over three decades of combined professional experience, the members of our clinical team – including Druery DeVore, MD, Michael Gentry, MD, Katie Haspeslagh, PA, and Molly Easter, FNP — are eager to meet the women (and their families) of Mount Airy and surrounding communities,” the health care facility said in the statement.
“Visitors are also welcome to enjoy light refreshments while touring our beautiful, patient-friendly facility – which includes a warm and welcoming reception and waiting area, 12 private exam suites and onsite AIUM certified ultrasound. “
Visitors also may obtain information about supplemental services from select vendors and specialists who will be on-site – including High Country Doula and Labella Birth and Baby for doula services and other childbirth-related needs; Mount Airy Massage and Wellness, which will offer five-minute head/neck/shoulder massages; Dr. Leslie Stoklosa for chiropractic treatment; and Sweetie Pie Diaper Service.
“We are excited to host an open house so members of the greater Mount Airy community may become more familiar with our approach to women’s health issues and our full menu of comprehensive programs and services,” said Dr. Druery DeVore, physician at Northern Obstetrics and Gynecology Center. “Our goal is to provide our patients – over their entire lifetime – with the most effective and advanced therapies available for their individual needs. And we are committed to providing that care in a safe and welcoming environment – one that is further enriched by a foundation of mutual trust and respect.”
The open house, at 510 S. South Street, is from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., is free and open to all interested members of the community.
