DOBSON — The Dobson Board of Commissioners took a moment out of its agenda Thursday night to recognize the service of Kenneth Earnest, who died last November. The coloring simulates impurities in water. The solar-powered system runs water through filters and across UV lights to kill bacteria and make it safe for drinking. North Surry seniors, like many of their counterparts, have presented multi-media presentations to meet graduation requirements as spring brings graduation closer.
