Suspect sought in hit and run
An incident at a home on Beulah Church Road Thursday morning is under investigation by the Surry County Sheriff’s Office, after a man reportedly was struck with a vehicle following a disagreement over auto parts. Breastfeeding mothers focus of new support group
DOBSON — Future mothers and new mothers alike will soon have a support group geared toward breastfeeding available to them. In a move that local animal advocates say “couldn’t have come at a better time,” the Petco Foundation has presented Mayberry4Paws a $500 grant that will be used to help control the unwanted pet population in the county.
