The event is set for today at Cross Creek Country Club. Registration for kindergarten students for Mount Airy schools is April 18 with pre-K registration set for May 2. Parents may contact the schools to schedule an appointment.

BizFest is set to begin at 8 a.m. with the show floor being open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to the business community.

The theme for BizFest is “Celebrating Business and Innovation in Surry County.” It is set to begin at 8 a.m. with exhibitors showcasing their products and services from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the show floor. Cross Creek will host the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event from 5 to 7 p.m.
