PILOT MOUNTAIN — On Monday night during the monthly meeting of the Pilot Mountain Board of Commissioners, members will discuss a possible purchase of part of the Pilot Center.

According to Pilot Mountain Town Manager Homer Dearmin, the board previously discussed a lease purchase agreement by Sport Solutions, a company that wants to purchase parts of the center, at its September meeting. Dearmin said half of the amount the company purchases, if the board agrees, will be turned into condominiums.

The board will discuss a waste-water mapping plan. Dearmin said the town wants to pursue funds for a sewer study.

Also, the board will hear an update from Doug Brannon, the chairman of Mount Pilot Now, the group that hosts the cruise-ins in the town each year.

The board will hear from each of the town’s departments before hearing the Dearmin’s town manager and finance reports.

No closed session is scheduled for this meeting.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the lower level of town hall. For more information, call the town of Pilot Mountain at 368-2248.
