EDWARDS
BOONVILLE — Betty Campbell Edwards, 76, passed away peacefully in her home Dec. 27, 2012, surrounded by her immediate family. She was born Feb. 23, 1936, in Yadkin County to the late Romas and Virginia Janie York Campbell. She was a member at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Willie Campbell and Spencer Campbell; and two sisters, Annie Lee Campbell and Mildred Campbell Lawson. Surviving are four kids, Jesse Bryson (Judy) Edwards, Jimmy Dean (Kelly) Edwards, Dorothy Jane Edwards (Steve) Kozar and Judy Edwards (Scott) Byrd; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Sanford Nathaniel (Nora Lee) Campbell.
