Cedar Ridge Elementary School student Elle Sutphin hangs an ornament on the school Christmas Tree. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade make ornaments as class projects for the tree which is decorated by the students themselves.

This Christmas tree at Cedar Ridge Elementary School is on display in the lobby. All the ornaments on the tree were made by students. Officials at the school say the competition between classes to make the most unique ornaments is intense with students trying to out do their classmates projects.
