PILOT MOUNTAIN — The Northwest 1A/2A Conference Championship swim meet will be hosted at the Armfield Civic Center in Pilot Mountain on Friday for boys competition and Saturday for girls.
East Surry, Bishop McGuinness, Mount Airy, South Stokes, Winston-Salem Prep, North Surry, Surry Central and West Stokes will compete in the conference meet.
East Surry swim coach Leah Tunstall said the boys competition will begin on Friday at 5:15 p.m. and awards will be handed out later that night for the boys top finishers. The girls swim competition will begin the following morning at 11:15 a.m. and awards will be handed out later that afternoon after the girls competition has finished.
Tunstall said it will be first and second place finishes in the conference meet that will receive awards this year.
