Mount Airy High School is selling discounted tickets for the football team’s state title game Saturday against Wallace-Rose Hill at noon in Winston-Salem.

Tickets can be purchased from the high school for $9. Those who wait until Saturday will have to pay $10 at the gate.

As of press time, 2,000 tickets were available, but more could be ordered if demand exceeds the supply.

The Granite Bears are riding a 31-game win streak and are in the midst of defending last season’s NCHSAA 1A state title. The Granite Bears (15-0) won a thriller against visiting Robbinsville Friday night to earn the right to defend their title.
