To all of the local businesses who have been holding, for lack of better term, charity nights. These have been primarily restaurants, although other businesses have participated in these as well. In these events a restaurant might donate a percentage of its sales, or of its net, on a given day to a local cause. Sometimes those causes are organized charities, other times they are individuals or families going through catastrophic medical problems.
Quite frankly there have been too many of late to attempt to list them, but it is good to see these businesses engaged with their community in this manner, and in so doing allowing many local folks to help out a person or family in need.
