Arrests

The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has reported the following arrests this week:

• On Nov. 29, Christina Hooks Grubb, 36, of Greenhouse Trail in Lowgap, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice in Virginia. She was booked into the Surry County Jail under a $10,000 bond.

• On Dec. 2, Kane Lanzie Lovill, 22, of Allred Mill Road in Mount Airy, was arrested and charged with three counts of obtaining property by false pretenses and one count of misdemeanor larceny. He was booked into the Surry County Jail under a $6,000 bond.

• On Dec. 5, Glenda Kaye George, 36, of Cone Lane in Mount Airy, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice. She was booked into the Surry County Jail under a $10,000 bond.

Incidents

The Surry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the following incidents:

• On Dec. 1, Dolores Marie Sanchez, 29, of Painted Pine Lane in Dobson, reported that someone had damaged a window on her home. The damage was valued at $75.

• On Dec. 1, Adam Wayne Moose, 34, of Tatum Lane in Mount Airy, reported that someone hat stolen a Saturn SC2 from his home. The vehicle was valued at $2,000.
