Mr. Richard Earl Howlett, age 76, of Morristown, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012. He was born on August 24, 1936 in Newport News, VA to the late Hunter and Gertrude Snow Howlett. Mr. Howlett is survived by one son, Richard Earl Howlett Jr., two daughters, Cheryl Simpson, Helen Howlett Buchanan; nine grandchildren, Laura, Joshua, Elijah, Buddy, Thomas, Olivia, Rebecca, Emily, Marley; three step-children, Sandra, Ivan, and Cynthia. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Cox-Needham Funeral Home with Bro. Don Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
