DOBSON — During tonight’s meeting of the Dobson Board of Commissioners, there will be public hearing before the board will consider a request from Gary York to rezone three parcels of land near the outskirts of town from residential to commercial.
Also during the meeting, there will be an open forum for public comments.
The town’s Finance Officer Laura Hill will give the board a review of the town’s financial position.
The board will also consider a resolution to give the Pine Ridge Fire Department access to the town’s fire hydrants.
The board will appoint someone to the town’s recreation committee during this meeting as well.
Town Manager Josh Smith will give the board updates on grants and projects the town is working on before discussing general town business.
