• Damage estimated at $4,400 was discovered Monday morning at a city mobile-home business, according to Mount Airy Police Department reports. The case involves homes being forcibly entered at Clayton Homes on North Andy Griffith Parkway. As a result, damages were reported to six 24-inch steel doors along with a rear window of one unit, although nothing was listed as stolen. The incident was still under investigation at last report.

• Damage put at $3,500 was reported Monday at CK Technologies in the Piedmont Triad West industrial park, where an unknown individual struck a safety pole, causing harm to it as well as a concrete walkway.

• Property valued at nearly $900 was reported stolen Monday from an 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser owned by Walter James Mooney. The crime occurred while the unlocked vehicle was at Mooney’s home on Quail Run. Among the items listed as missing were a $500 flashlight, a Tomtom GPS unit, a Nokia digital camera and $10 in cash.

• Two people were cited for larceny Sunday in connection with an incident at Walmart. Terry Conway Guynn, 35, and Crystal Ann Guynn, 29, both of 1072 Sparger Road, are scheduled to appear in Surry District Court on Sept. 4. Other details regarding the alleged offense were not listed.

• A case involving financial transaction card fraud was reported Friday, stemming from an incident in late July at Circle K on Rockford Street, where an unknown suspect used a stolen credit card to make a $60 purchase.

• Also Friday, police were told that someone had obtained a controlled substance by fraud at the pharmacy of ProHealth on North Pointe Boulevard during July. The case involves a known individual forging a prescription for Oxycontin by adding to the number of milligrams specified. No arrest had been made at last report.

• A break-in of a motor vehicle was discovered on Aug. 1 in the parking lot of Sav-A-Lot Food Store on South Andy Griffith Parkway. Items including a wallet, VISA credit card, driver’s license and medication were stolen from a 1984 Ford F-150 pickup owned by Pamela Jessup Davis, a Sunnybrook Lane resident, which was unsecured at the time.
