Animals sold on the livestock market, based on 100-pound weights, were:
• Slaughter cows: utility and commercial, $63-$83.50; cutter and boning, $60-$83.50; canner and low cutter, $40-$69.
• Slaughter bulls: 1,000-1,500 pounds, too few.
• Stock cows: 875-1,050 pounds, (S1) $910-$1,050.
• Cow/calf pairs: too few.
• Baby calves: $20-$57.50.
• Feeder steers and bulls: 300-400 pounds, (M1) $188, (Holsteins) $73-$104; 400-500 pounds, (M1) $141-$168, (Holsteins) $68-$103; 500-600 pounds, (M1) $129-$150, (small frame) $109-$125, (Holsteins) $94-$108.50; 600-700 pounds, (M1) $120-$138; 700 pounds and up, (M1) $105-$122.50.
• Feeder heifers: 300-400 pounds, (M1) $133-$142.50; 400-500 pounds, (M1) $128-$133.50; 500-600 pounds, (M1) $128.75-$132.25; 600-700 pounds, (small frame) $100; 700 pounds and up, (small frame) $96.
