The Surry Arts Council presents Lou Reid and Carolina in concert today at the Downtown Cinema Theatre.

Based in Union Grove, this band has been making headlines since 1992. Lou Reid is now arguably the most recognizable voice in bluegrass music. Lou Reid and Carolina will perform at the Downtown Cinema Theatre at 142 N. Main St., to promote their new album “My Own Set of Rules,” which was released July 28 by Rural Rhythm.
