To the Editor,

My vote is not for sale to the candidate who spends the most money; is yours?

Next Tuesday is election day and we citizens need to elect Deborah Cochran as our new Mayor. She is truly the “voice of the people” as is printed on her signs, and that’s what good local government should be all about. We hear and see so much these days about politicians who are only in it for themselves, but no one would ever say that about Cochran.

Cochran has run a conservative campaign because that’s the type person she is and would be as Mayor. Others have spent record amounts because that’s the type person they are. When election day comes I hope we’ll see that our votes were not for sale.
