Mount Airy swept North Surry 9-0 in tennis Monday, a match rescheduled from last Tuesday because of rain.
The Lady Bears gave up just two games in all six singles matches to improve to 9-2, 6-0 in the Northwest Conference.
At the top spot, Jordan Jackson beat Sarah Glasco 6-0, 6-1. Second seed Davi Barbour bested Harriette Blackburn 6-0, 6-1.
The bottom four matches were all 6-0, 6-0.
Jade Hughes topped Chainey Kuykendall, Haley Thomas over Chantel Davis, Bree Hughes versus Tiffany Early and Carley VanHoy over Lakin East.
In doubles play, Barbour and Thomas defeated Blackburn and Kuykendall 8-4.
Jackson and Bree Hughes won 8-4 over Glasco and Davis. Jade Hughes and VanHoy beat East and Jazmyn Pugh 8-1.
In conference play, the Bears have been dominant, going 48-3 in six matches.
They go to South Stokes today, while the Lady Greyhounds travel to Bishop McGuinness.
