MOUNT AIRY — Mrs. Mozelle Rilely Crotts Jones, 79, of 542 Allred Mill Road, Mount Airy, widow of Mr. Ivan Monroe Jones, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Golden Living Nursing Center. She was born April 22, 1933, in Carroll County, Va., to the late Greely Edgar and Stella Myrtle Spencer Crotts. She was retired from Mt. Airy Mantle and Table Company. She was a member of Closer Walk Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Wanda Faye Butcher of Mount Airy; two sons, Franklin Crotts of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Roger Crotts of Mount Airy; three grandaughters, Wannetta George of Mount Airy and Juanita Bounds and Christina Harves, both of Oklahoma City; a grandson, Franklin Crotts Jr. Oklahoma City; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Lovell of Dobson; and two brothers, Aaron Crotts of Cana, Va., and Vestal Crotts of Madison. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Crotts was preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie Lou Harves and Betty Jean Crotts; and a brother, Osler Crotts. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Doug Cockerham. Burial will follow in Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moody Funeral Home.
